We developed a custom brain age test game designed to challenge users’ cognitive processing speed and accuracy. Our team was responsible for the full game design, game development, and hardware installation, delivering a seamless and engaging experience from start to finish.

The game is built around a Stroop-like task, where players are presented with color words displayed in mismatched font colors—for example, the word “Blue” might appear in red text. This creates a cognitive conflict between what the eyes see and what the brain reads. Players must quickly and accurately select the correct response based on the font color, not the word itself. This tests the brain’s ability to process conflicting information, a key indicator of cognitive agility and mental age.

By measuring reaction time and accuracy, the game provides insights into how efficiently the brain processes sensory input and makes decisions. The faster and more accurately a player responds, the “younger” their brain age is estimated to be. This interactive and scientifically grounded game not only entertains but also raises awareness about cognitive health in a fun and accessible way.
